I really enjoyed #ukgcXL. Wonderful to see so many old friends, and to scheme with some new ones.
Strikes me lots of today’s themes seem constrained by the coming election tho, as everyone waits for new policy directions. I suspect next year’s GovCamp will be a whole new beast.
#UKGCXL was brilliant, and scaled really well. So many exceptional people doing valuable things in their respective areas - invigorating and exhausting in equal measure, but always a wellspring of experience, expertise and community. Now to think about how to translate stuff into positive action.
Would be great at the next @ukgovcamp.bsky.social event to run a retrospective.
Gather feedback from attendees on how many of the ideas covered are able to be successfully actioned. Identify which theoretical concepts actually work when put into practice. 🤔
