Found this stunning Anthopleura ballii on the shore. I’d never seen a green one before. Read up on it: they have a Green Fluorescent Protein which gives them this very striking emerald colour. More reading to do… #ukmarinelife 🦑

Just after first light & only part of the shore was exposed but there’s always something to see. I found these Twin Fan Worms (Bispira volutacornis) who were happy to tolerate my photographic efforts & didn’t vanish into their tubes.
