Course Goals: Stakeholders - Explain the key stakeholders within the college sports ecosystem & a college campus Structures - Understand the structures, economies, legal issues, and concepts of equity and inclusion in contemporary collegiate sports Analysis - Apply the knowledge from the course labor and sports topics in a case study analysis of college athlete labor models in the state of Washington History - Describe the key events in the history of college sports and the contemporary legal challenges Labor - Describe and explain labor and employment issues for college student workers, college athletes, and campuses in Washington state Questions?
