From #Undercliff path just east of #BrightonMarina today I spotted several #GreatBlack-backed gulls feasting on washed up (by tide) large Conger Eel (150cm long) on mid-shore (tide receding) w/ fishing line clearly visible.
The heavy one that got away but a sad end 🙄.
It did not go to waste!

Spent 1 hr watching young Roe buck feeding in horse paddock just beyond fence @ #DevilsDyke when it flopped down in tall grass 2m away from me. ❤️
