Regarding Switzerland: Building 3 gas plants while ignoring the potential of #V2G and integrated #EnergyStorage is a political failure to innovate, not a physical necessity. We don't need "small base" nuclear; we need the courage to implement the #EnergyTransition scientifically.
Relying on slow, expensive NPPs instead of #V2G integration, seasonal thermal storage, and overcapacity in wind/solar is a choice, not a necessity. Even France, the nuclear poster child, faces massive winter imports and high prices because their fleet is unreliable in summer and winter alike.
