Vancouver election office says record high voter turnout reason for long lineups for byelection Polls are open for the Vancouver byelection from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 25 locations across the city.

With today’s #Vancouver by-election, figuring there would be big lineups at the chic polling stations on Commercial Drive & Coal Harbour (where drinks an hors d'oeuvres were served)—I voted at the Carnegie Centre today. About a 20 minute lineup that I gather has evaporated.
