Vienna is rich in wide open green spaces; the Lainz Game Reserve is a paradise, hiking trails that permit you to wander for hours on end, observing deer, wild boars, ducks and geese, birds and red squirrels along the way. The best part is, public transport takes you right there from the center of the city.
