I get told I have cinematic dreams a lot. And I do believe it. They're the reason I have a dream journal channel in my server because dreams are like movies only we remember for a little while. I hope you enjoy this one. I thought it was really cool even if it made me depressed.

Had my first night of really good REM sleep in more than six weeks. Had two long, very detailed dreams. Slept more than intended. Hopefully all the effects of the anxiety attack have passed.

A finished oil painting with extreme light contrast and saturated colors. The image is a depiction of a landscape from a dream. There is a castle in the distance upon a mountain, a city below it, gold walls, many trees, street lamps, and a golden giant sitting on a bench. Up close there is a spiral staircase made of mother-of-pearl and green tiles behind it representing the sewer beneath the empire. Across the sky, there is a molten magma lightning effect.
I finished the oil painting a couple months ago.
This piece hasn't been glazed yet, I'm excited to glaze it in November when it's fully dry!
