The Joint Legislative Audit and Review Committee (JLARC) will meet on April 8, 2026, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Cherberg Building on the capitol campus in Olympia, WA. The meeting is in person and will be livestreamed on TVW. Meeting topics include: ignition interlock device compliance and monitoring; drug take-back program fee-setting and expenditures; and clean buildings performance standard scope and objectives.

Also, I would love if we had an annual vehicle safety inspection requirement, but without one, I think it’s better to just upgrade the underlying offenses and enable automatic enforcement.
