We talked about this with our #WHTTVS (re)watch series and the conclusion we came up with was that when you had 20+ episodes a season you naturally had filler episodes, and then you also had the opportunity to take risks. When you only have eight episodes you can't afford to take a risk on one 😔
I wonder if for the show they are thinking of doing similar to the audio story and having a parallel universe bleed into this one. That would be a good way of bringing back a lot of characters like Cordelia. And Anya! 👀
