#OTD 25th July 1944, my great uncle, John Appleby RAFVR, took part in a special mission called Operation Wildhorn lll, a single Dakota KG477 of 267 Pegasus Squadron flying from their base in Italy to pick up important V2 parts, plans, photos & VIPs from southern Poland.
