Narnia has officially arrived in #WesterHailes ✨

It’s been an absolute delight welcoming nurseries & families over the past few days to our winter festive trail. And we’re not done yet — we can’t wait to welcome even more families over the next few days.

We’re delighted to be working with a fantastic group of local partners across #WesterHailes to bring our magical Narnia experience to families this year. Their support has helped us make the event bigger & better than ever, & we’re excited to shine a spotlight on the wonderful work they do ✨

Libraries email explaining where new bike racks installed Good morning Councillor Heap, We were contacted in February 2025 by the Road Safety and Active Travel team, letting us know there was funding for bike racks and were libraries interested. We asked all libraries if any were in need and individual interested libraries contacted the Road Safety and Active travel Team directly. They worked together on the best options for the interested libraries and Wester Hailes, Balerno, Currie, Portobello and Newington libraries benefited from this excellent opportunity.
