Tall, pale man, Westley, strikes a rock across his dagger to ignite a torch he's made from a thin, broken stalagmite wrapped with his torn sleeves. He lifts the torch to illuminate the dark cave system before walking deeper into it.
The light of Westley's torch catches the glimmer of the golden edge of a cape. Westley stops and kneels down, illuminating three dead bodies with his torch. Inspecting the bodies, he notes that they have no visible injuries, no rot, their weapons are still sheathed, and they look thin and starved despite having rations.
Westley comes to three conclusions. He cannot eat the bodies. There's something dangerous down in the caves with him. And he should loot their gear. Grabbing a backpack full of supplies, a short cloak, a coinpurse, and a belt with a sheath for his dagger. The colors of the looted gear is bright, colorful, and mismatched compared to Westley's original black clothing.
How many dead does it take to dress a man? Three, apparently.

Random guy walking down a red-lamp lit street, texting someone. The text reads; "You get the goods?" "Bet." "You almost here?" "10 minutes maybe." "You followed?" "Of course not." Westley, knife in hand, slinks silently from a dark alleyway up behind the man.
The last text reads; "See you soon." Westley grabs the man by his hood, yanking him backwards as he brings up his knife. He swings, the man evaporating into mist as the world darkens and Westley is left standing alone in a dark cave as the last of the red light disappears.
