Chasing up the last few #WhereWhereWedgie records & reminiscing over some good survey days, eg these views of battling Tasmanian wedge-tailed eagles at the start of one of my 10-minute scans.
(After landing out of sight, both eventually flew off in opposite directions).

Thought we had planned this perfectly - morning survey from the balcony at this gorgeous farm stay but unfortunately 99% of the square is on the other side of that hill!
Oh well 2 wedgies on the way in is a great sign for tomorrow!

There's a good chance you'll spot a bird of prey; in any case, you'll definitely have a memorable, rewarding day...

Great day out for #WhereWhereWedgie surveys on Bruny Island. Consider this square #239 next year if you are looking for an easy intro to the surveys.
Start at the neck campsite, stop at the chocolate shop and the cafe. End at the gin distillery! Winning!! 🦅🦅🦅
