I recently visited the impressive British Sugar factory at #Wissington.

It celebrates its 100th birthday this year! Europe’s largest beet factory processes 3m tonnes of sugar beet a yr, creating over 400,000 tonnes of quality sugar & up to 75m litres of ethanol

The site is a key local employer

Small groups of Whooper Swans at Hilgay Wetland Creation and on the dark peat fenland fields of nearby Wissington.
