While people of a certain age might have seen Bryan Fuller's short-lived show (only 4 episodes aired on FOX before it was axed), the full 13-episode U.S. DVD release was over 21 years ago and that release is long out of circulation.

This show is superb fun and years ahead of many a later show. Even the token noughties black cast member gets storylines.

Be interesting to hear a Canadian viewpoint on #Wonderfalls as that show was soooo good. But maybe some of the US vs Canadian cultural stuff falls flat on actual Canadians.
I recommend these curios you haven't yet done (keeping it modern for you as I've gone back as far as 1940s TV & 1930s radio).

Do I recommend?
Yes this show was fabulous from top to tail. Not a bad ep or B-plot or character in the full 13 eps. The writing, production and acting literally nailed every single thing at every turn.

Great end to the show even if the final scene is a bit too undramatic.
And that is it. "Wonderfalls" does come to a natural end albeit prematurely. Thankfully every story is wrapped up. Very satisfying indeed.

I dunno where Patricia Zentilli is these days but God that lady needs to be in front of the cameras acting.
These episodes are top tier fare. They keep you guessing and elevate wonderfully.
They're only slightly dated in terms of 2004 TV things we must never do today.

Literally every character is involved in this ep. Such top level writing and Dhavernas shows a lot of acting range.

The twist ending was kind of spoilt by having Jewel Staite's name in the credits so I guessed her shock appearance before it happened.
The supporting characters are starting to flesh out this show well now.
