The Cuckoo Stone is a neolithic stone that can be found in the field next to #Woodhenge.
It was once a standing sarsen stone but it’s now fallen. Sarsen is a type of sandstone, famous for its use at Stonehenge. The #CuckooStone is 2.1 metres long and 1.5 metres wide.
Woodhenge is a Neolithic site built around 2500 BC.
Concrete markers show the positions of the timber posts.
