Grade II* Listed Jubilee Cone building, built in 1887 housed the first ever continuous glass making furnace but it is now the entrance to the museum. A glass artwork of the lower part of the face on display at St Helens World of Glass. The town has a strong industrial history of glass manufacture. Beautiful blue - green hues of the image and geometric lines of the edge of glass display cases and window frames turn the whole photograph into an artwork. In the background are the roofs of buildings of St Helens.
