Excellent day yesterday in #Wraysbury beside the Colne Brook with Tony from ReAP and #volunteers from the @EnvironmentAgency removing 25 year old tree guards, some of which had become embedded in the trees. All the plastic will be #recycled thanks to the amazing work of ReAP

On our circular walk of #Wraysbury and Ankwerwycke you can see an ancient yew tree which is 30 feet in circumference and over 2,000 years old. The Magna Carta was sealed in 1215, quite possibly on this site. #history #Windsor #Staines #ThickTrunkTuesday

Our aim for the day was to clean up the entrance near points 2 and 3, and we hope visitors will now enjoy this area (almost) litter-free.
