“If you want me in on this whole ‘playtime’ thing of yours, I never want to hear you say you’re broken again. Got it?” I drew myself as straight and tall as I could. I knew my ears were doing that angry thing that Rowan didn’t like seeing. “But I am.” Eland shrugged. I got ahold of his collar and pulled him down to my height. “Guess what you get to do every time you want ‘playtime’ now.” Eland’s breathing had shallowed out with me snapping. “M-master?” I gave him a mirthless chuckle. “You get to tell me something you like about yourself. Every god damn time. Got it?” He ducked back in terror, but didn’t get very far with me holding onto him, putting a bit of magic into my strength or else he would have been able to pull away. “Don’t tempt me with a good time. I’ll make you write it out twenty times every morning and keep it in a commonbook in that pocket I know lies next to your heart, vogeltje. Then, if I’m feeling particularly generous, I’m make you read them outloud to me every time you want to {}.” “He’s really scary when he’s mad, Rowan!” Eland gulped. “What color of cover, matchstick?” Rowan’s face lit up with the most merceless smile I’d seen on him up to this point. “Something to match his eyes. I’ve always liked them.” Eland was starting to panic at being praised, wiggling and tugging at his collar. “I’ll see what I can do.” Rowan smirked. “So, tell me, vogeltje: what is one thing you like about yourself?” I was going to enjoy this particular section of the power trip in playtime. “I-I-I…” he stuttered, eyes going everywhere else but to mine. “I think I like your eyelashes. They’re very fine, you know?” I kissed the spot between Eland’s eyebrows and he whimpered. “And the curve to this lower lip,” I traveled down to bite it. He started trembling. “Tell me, vogeltje, or I don’t let go of this collar and I keep going.” He swallowed, gasping, not knowing what to do with himself.

When you're gender swapping a tall, stronk, demon MMC to a FMC and realize a smut scene you have is like in The Village where the MMC gets hung up by one of the vampire sisters. 🤣 I forgot I had written a scene with suspension cuffs. Enjoy, I guess.👀

Last night I mainly created a family of dragons. It was a huge amount of fun and also helped me figure out my main themes for books 4-9 of the series and solve some tricky plot points. A most productive few hours and who doesn't love dragons!
