Brightly-illuminated numbered signs, whose backgrounds alternate between red and orange, hang down from the ceiling of a large parking garage. The numbered signs appear smaller as they continue to appear in rows into the distance. Parked cars loom dark, and exhibit curious geometric distortions.

Walls of two buildings (a grey and white one on the left, a blue glass one on the right) appear to be meeting, and perhaps even be butted together at right angles, near the middle of the frame. This is of course a visual illusion aided by the spatial compression of a long lens.

An urban building – in shades of mid-blue, dark blue and gray – is rendered in softened contrast courtesy of the low-flying cloud which engulfs its top. The building wears a fascinator shaped like a zippy flattened "V", which feature is especially befogged.

One of the cool things about my #Pentax #K3iii #Monochrome is that one of the viewfinder grids in the camera is a 4x4 grid. By composing my shot using the middle two rows, I'm effectively shooting a 65:24 crop, or #XpanFormat. Combined with my #15mmLens it creates a lovely #panorama

An empty parking lot for what was obviously once a busy store. Grain silos in the background with the top of a church popping up. There's half a brand new pick up to the left, & modern cars on the right, suggesting there's life in this image, not just a dead glimpse of the past. Xpan wide panoramic view with pale colours & an overall bright image.

I am so happy with this image from Norfolk Nebraska (home to Johnny Carson).
