Last time I biked downtown, I knocked on the passenger window of a driver who didn't have their headlights turned on so they had no taillights, when I caught up at a stop light. Then I saw he was on his cell phone 2 handed too. He thanked me.

They go by Bob Bob, have no avatar, and know that it's buses on 11th Ave causing all social ills, when it's not me shutting down all traffic downtown by asking for bike lanes that aren't 25 years old and designed wrong.

The city just yesterday approved borrowing millions of dollars, ostensibly to improve the safety of #ArcolaAve intersections. What would actually work is to get more people using Regina Transit down that stretch, adding a protected bike lane, and slowing the speed down to 50km/h or less. #YQRtraffic

Exactly. So I want some good cameras, and collect a bunch of rude drivers and their plates, and put them all online and convince Council that they're subjecting slower cyclists like kids to that same abuse when biking in their "community zone".

Used to be 40km/h limit most of the day here. Then put up to 50km/h by City of Regina. Then a kid was hit by a driver. Soccer players and other pedestrians play right there.
Should be 30km/h, with better design like a protected bike lane. Digital radar sign is meh.

Less than an hour later, all swept up, and no one driving by could tell. Bits of other cars remain on the sidewalk though, as Arcola Ave. eats careless drivers for breakfast, lunch, and supper.
