My photographic heart beats fastest among dereliction & fascinating decay but I realise (perhaps belatedly) that not every #yorkopenstudios visitor wants rotting factories on their wall so I'm mounting up a set of prettier things ready for two weeks time!

Have been doing some more affordable prints for #yorkopenstudios - A4 prints in an A3 mount with backing board. A chance to get the new printer working and also try some different paper - this is Permajet FB Matt 285 which gives *gorgeous* results with grainy dreamy stuff like this one - very happy!
Next photo on the walls - again in our kitchen ready for #yorkopenstudios, Slow death in the lee of the hill is printed at A3 in an A2 frame & very much available. It's also heading to Glasgow Gallery of Photography for their Monochrome Exhibition (4th - 28th June 2026) - more info nearer the time!

Another photobook, this time gathering together the B&W film photographs from the bits of my cycling holiday when I wasn't on the bike! At 24 pages and about three and a half metres long, it's an easier print job than the 7m+ Marginal. It'll be on sale at next year's #yorkopenstudios

Say what you like about a wet weekend but by heck it's an opportunity to get stuff done - it's been solid printing / cutting / folding here, meaning I now have a (very limited) stock of Marginal, my photobook. Better work out how to sell it or there'll be a lot left for next year's #yorkopenstudios
