There are many in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti that are skeptical of protected bike lanes. I think it just makes sense to have a small amount of space reserved for the most efficient form of transportation. As we look towards a sustainable future, it just makes sense.

What would make these intersections better? I'd like to imagine a future where both Cross and Washtenaw are fully two-way east of the Water Tower. I'd like to make this area is much nicer for pedestrians and cyclists. Is the solution a giant roundabout around the Water Tower?

This should be by right in all residential lots in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. Four 1000 sqft condos on a 10,000 sqft lot. I've walked past here dozens of times. It's less than 1/2 mile from my house. Didn't realize it was a 4-plex until I saw it on the plat map. #a2Council #YpsiCouncil
