I am reminded about #ZLuC2024 when we were talking about masking. This is not an evident thing for me, as I experience breathing issues on a daily basis (not to mention binding due to dysphoria). And people were so kind, saying that this is what masking also implies. That it is okay as well.

We strived for a hybrid option that included prerecorded sessions, but the goal is for a stronger virtual component for upcoming ZLuCs. On-site both days was a zine swap (pic). COVID safety included free COVID tests and KN95 masks (that the great majority wore), plus use of CO2 monitors. Accessibility measures also included a Spanish translator, in-person captioning, all-gender restrooms, vegan and gluten-free options, scent-free environment, and quiet room. #zluc2024 #NYC
