A mourning dove atop a wall. It is facing right with its head turned toward the camera. The bird is mostly a light brown or grey, with a few black spots on its wing and back and some dark brown feathers toward the tip of the wing. It has a fairly long tail, which is not all visible in the photo. The legs are orange. Its head is rounded with a short black beak. It has a large black eye with a light blue eye ring. There is a brown spot between the eye and the beak. The breast is tan. It is standing at the edge of a wall with a blurred background mostly of green leaves.
