The more I process my trauma with my therapist, the more I remember, and the more I realize what a monster my mother was... Individually, the stuff doesn't sound like much sometimes, but when you add it all up it's horrible. I hope I'm giving my daughter a better life.

I feel like no one talks about the #disillusionmentphase after going #nocontact with an #abusiveparent.
Like I have just realized more & more of what my father did was so fucked up and he had us believing it was normal or okay. Gross.

Isn’t it better to ask “what has happened to you that could prevent you from …..”
