Drone view of my senior (me) accessible kitchen garden. Raised beds are high, for more ergonomic plant care. Ground is covered with arborist chips, from local trees removed for wildfire risk mitigation. Fruit trees are pruned against the fence, or grafted to highly dwarfing rootstocks, so most care can be standing or sitting. Also various, mostly large, containers. Fence is for keeping deer out. I need to set up drip irrigation soon, it needs annual maintenance.

Tall containers and minidwarf apple trees for accessible gardening. The round containers are scalloped, brick-like decorative edging for trees, that are stacked to make durable, very long-lasting containers.

Blooming minidwarf apple trees and stacked cement-block raised beds. The fairly wide area of arborist chips will be partly occupied by squash vines, in warmer weather.

Another view of raised beds. In foreground, a view of container garden enclosed by a "box" built from recycled cedar fencing. The containers are 20 gallon fabric tree containers, filled with mixture of soil, compost, and perlite. Some have a tree-leaf mulch.

Bibb lettuce plants, planted today in raised bed. Harder to see, Daikon and Turnip seedlings.

Snowpea plants, planted in raised bed. This time I planted deeper to see if jays wont pull them up. I'll cover with plastic bottle cloches, at night to see if that helps too.

Garlic plants growing in tall sided raised bed. In front are strawberries in containers. Both are helpful accessible garden methods for this older gardener.

Chinese chives in a tall sided container - about two feet tall. They overwintered great and are now ready to harvest for jiaozi dumplings.
