I also use the old atlases for #makerspace / #ADST / #STEAM lessons in which students build Keva plank towers and we weight test their structural soundness with stacks of atlases…till they collapse!
Been using #AI to run comparisons on #BCEd sparse #AI curriculum materials vs 22 US states’ & US Dept of Ed guidance docs. We are short on specifics here at home—not to mention the problems inherent in the ‘choose your own adventures’ in our scattershot #ADST curriculum.
When you look at the #BCEd #ADST scatter-shot, choose-your-own-adventure curriculum approach to significant #digitalliteracy & #digitalcitizenship under the ‘new’ curriculum since 2016 it’s no wonder we are in this situation with our students—and educators
