#AgeOfYouth gave a push to mainstream success to all the actresses and even actors who worked in the project. #ParkEunBin, #HanYeri and #YoonPark mostly worked on indie productions before this kdrama and today they are, perhaps, the most well known internationally.
#HanSeungYeon won the Hallyu Star Award at the 9th Korea Drama Awards.
#ParkHyeSu was nominated in the Most Popular Actress at the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards.
#AgeOfYouth achieved mainstream recognition when it reached international audiences. The kdrama was renewed for a second season.
Like most female centric stories, #AgeOfYouth didn’t find ratings success domestically. However, it found a small loyal audience, mostly young adult women in their late teens, twenties and even thirties.
#AgeOfYouth was written by #ParkYeonSeon, who was inspired by her own struggles and the issues that younger generations are facing in South Korea.
