The essence of #aikido (and #aikijujutsu), as seen from the standpoint of an outside observer, is to create a situation where no one can physically harm you.
That's a simpler task in comparison with other martial arts where a second purpose to make harm to others is essential.

I wonder if I’m the only person on the Fediverse who does #DaitoRyu #aikijujutsu? Due to federation I might be missing some people doing this traditional #jujutsu somewhere at the edges of this universe.
Had a great #DaitoRyu #aikijujutsu practise today at #Sasuga. Been too long since I was last there (busy with many things). But today I got several things working nicely and randori was pretty satisfactory. Something clicked.
