Aimi and Stormy are besties and go shopping together all the time. Aimi is in tears because she spiraled out of control after this villain named Asuka made her lose her mind. Asuka basically was taunting Aimi about her past experiences and it kept giving Aimi flashbacks to the harsh bullying she dealt with when she was really young. The bullying was in fact very violent to the point scarred Aimi emotionally and mentally. Asuka went as far as to get rid of Aimi’s friend Miyuki in front of her (I can’t say the actual word but it rhymes with chill) Asuka even injured Kioshi so badly in front of her that it drove Aimi into a spiral and she basically defeated Asuka and the monsters that got in her way of fighting. The drawing shows a very different Aimi then her the usual sunshine and bubbly persona. Aimi herself never thought she could do such a heinous thing all due to not wanting to lose Kioshi again and the friend she once knew. (Miyuki didn’t quite make it but Kioshi did and it basically caused both him and Aimi to have severe trauma) In case curious about Asaka’s character she is usually seen as a tamed but caring person, in reality she is one of Midnight’s main servants and is a very cruel person deep down. She’s a great manipulator but also could be a very cruel being if she wanted to. She unfortunately pushed Aimi’s buttons and it led to her demise as a result.

They’re both crying btw because Midnight earlier turned Kioshi into a monster in his sleep after his severe depression battles. Aimi and her friends (Stormy, Shadow, and Rosette) had to defeat his monster but Aimi couldn’t do it since well that was her boyfriend and her best friend it’s a cruel thing to do. Rosette being Rosette defeated him anyways. Aimi grabbed his crystal and saw it was shattered but still had color. So she used her star magic as a way to defeat the darkness in his crystal (his life). She ended up purifying his crystal and he managed to survive. (It’s very rare for characters to be able to have their crystals purified by a healer since most of the time the villains have a habit of using too much dark energy but Kioshi was lucky since his crystal was shattered and the darkness was very likely to escape it). Aimi saw him lying unconscious and tried to help him up until he did and they basically hugged and cried.

The story is supposed to have 6 Parts which Part 1 just being called Starlight, Part 2 being called Starlight: Restoration, Part 3 is called Starlight: Stars Fall, Part 4 is called Starlight: The Turbulent Star, Part 5 is called Starlight: It Prevails, and lastly the 6th Part is called Starlight: The Crippled Cosmos. I originally worked on this project or story since Covid but stopped around 2021-22 due to school. I have written a bunch of ideas and scripts for story as well. The different parts of the story have different plots that all link to each other in some kind of way involving the main characters. I could talk about the other parts another time but for the main plot of Starlight (aka the 1st Part) it’s about the protagonist named Aimi Suki who transfers to a magical private school called Starlight Academy in order to start fresh from her terrible experience from her previous one. While there she makes new friends and learns how to become a warrior and be able to fight the dark energy that runs through both the school and the world that has turned ordinary civilians into monsters. Throughout the story, Aimi’s anxieties of being alone and fearing for the world is slowly being put at rest and she learns to fight the dangers by the people who help lead her and it allows her to use her own strengths to help her become a stronger and more confident warrior. Even though it seems like a light hearted fantasy story at first, there are some moments that are supposed to be sad, tragic, and even depressing at times. (Sorta a fun fact but I did originally write this story at thirteen and I wrote Starlight because I’ve always really loved fantasy things with mythical creatures and there is supposed to be a lot of symbolism, mythology inspired events, and even a bit about Japanese culture. Randomly but lastly, the story is supposed to take place around early 2016 era but it’s not too modern to the point everything is about cell phones and tech. That’s all 🌟

For context here, Aimi lost her friend Shadow here after he took the test and is traumatized by the event because Shadow doesn’t have his revival powers yet so he couldn’t fully revive himself so he actually died. What happened basically is the evil villain Midnight had him fight a monster and once Shadow defeated it, the monster ended up exploding in front of him and basically he died immediately from the blast. (I did change his death from the whole grenade thing cause I felt like it made no sense lol) While taking the test there is this invisible glass barrier that prevented anyone from the test that Midnight put out for them. No one but Midnight knew about the explosives in the monster so it’s both an unfortunate and tragic thing that happened during the “test”. Aimi’s friends Stormy and Kioshi also saw but they were both just as traumatized especially Stormy since that was her own family member and he was pretty much like her older brother (they are cousins btw). Aimi couldn’t believe how cruel Midnight was for letting this even happen in the first place. Midnight even told her that warriors aren’t true warriors unless they accept their fate despite the circumstances. Midnight planned the whole “test” in order to test out his time manipulation abilities unless something went wrong and only if it benefited him. Luckily, Aimi was the only one who didn’t have to take the test since Midnight thought maybe it could be his way of trying redeem himself and try to get her to join him as a main Nightcrawler member but she declined no matter how many deals he made for her. Aimi couldn’t join him since she knew he was one of the main threats to human life and that he was willing to sacrifice others for his own sick enjoyment. (Which that is true in the whole Starlight story) The invisible glass in this drawing is cracked by the blast of the explosion from the monster Shadow tried defeating.

A bit about her life in the world of Aurous, she doesn’t have any memory of her life there since her mother Queen Irene used to her powers to teleport her to earth as a baby. However she does have an older brother named Cosmo and a twin sister named Sirius. Sirius however was taken by Midnight when she was also a baby leaving only Aimi and Cosmo. Aimi’s name was also not actually Aimi, her real name was actually Starlia. She was only named Aimi by her adoptive parents on Earth. She was born with powers but they didn’t develop until she came into high school. Queen Irene had very similar abilities to Aimi and even has her beautiful sapphire and galaxy eyes like her. Aimi was originally a princess before the whole rebellion happened and she made it to earth as a young baby. She doesn’t have any memory of her real parents or her siblings unfortunately. She does have two fathers which included Midnight who’s her real but evil father and Caelius who is her stepfather but is a great father and King. Her star powers are pretty powerful but not as powerful as her lightning powers. Her lightning powers could electrocute and cause significant damage to the enemies that approach her. But they are a bit more difficult to control compared to her lightning powers since they have to do with her anxiety levels. She also has her lightning powers shock opponents as a way of defending herself due to the fear of being harmed. Her weakness very much is that despite how powerful her lightning and star powers are she does tend to use more stamina which tires her out faster. As a result she starts to fall asleep when battling and usually goes to sleep. Her healing abilities are linked with her star abilities and she uses other peoples crystals (they become crystals when they die) and revives people with them. She could heal herself and others injuries. The side effect is she can’t revive herself and she can’t revive people with black crystals (aka dying crystals).
