Although Alan Plater is better known for The Beiderbecke Trilogy, adapting A Very British Coup and Oh No Its Selwyn Froggitt.

Having mentioned ‘Misterioso’ the 1991 TV play (replies passim) recently, I was inspired to seek out the novel it was based on, and World Of Books came up with the goods. V much looking forward to reading this #AlanPlater #JazzInFiction 💙📚
