Erst nach dem großen Hamburger Brand von 1842 wurde mit dem vormaligen #Admiralitätsstraßenfleet, danach kleine Alster und heute Alsterfleet genannten Verbindung zwischen Alster und Elbe mit zwei Schleusen komplett schiffbar gemacht.
