I just this morning got on the N1MM Logger Plus forum (groups.io) with an 11th hour networking issue. 7 minutes later got a reply from N1MM himself, solved the issue. Wow.

Vara HF Successfully Connected!
After nearly a year, I finally have Winlink VARA HF working on my Yaesu FT991a without a signalink!
I think the issue was just not understanding the ports for the radio and the volume levels being too low.
#ARRLFieldDay motivated me to work on this today so mark down Field Day as a success!
