This is the first of the two big pieces I started last year, but it's the only one I'll post.

I needed an official sense of scale for my characters, as their hair makes them appear taller than they really are. This measures them without it 🎨

Also, the outfit bases are for my eyes only 🤭

I've been working on a turn sheet. I thought I was done in February, but NOPE: proportions were off for each angle and I spent over a month correcting them 😭

The last angle's finished, so now I'm free!!! For comparison, the old left side I drew is on the left and the new one is on the right 🎨

I've drawn some of my characters with eyes like the one in Aqua's first picture. For expressive purposes, I may keep drawing them they way I did in the second picture 🎨

I haven't released a Halloween piece in four years but today's a special occasion; it's the 50th anniversary of "Bohemian Rhapsody."

My parents are both Queen fans so I listened to their music growing up. Here's my take on the iconic photo with my OCs

Three different color palettes for Shadow: The first one has a black shirt, dark purple jeans and black boots. The second has a dark purple shirt, black jeans, and grey boots. The third one has a white shirt, purple jeans, and brown boots. There are scattered tears on the shirt and pants, but skin tone and hair color is the same across all three variations.

Time for another oldie!

I remember when I couldn't decide on a color palette for Shadow's outfit.

I made three palettes and found one that stuck. That's just how it is sometimes, but during the process I learned more tatters DON'T equate to a more rugged OC 😂

During my Inkscape days, I was bored one summer and wanted to make a drawing start to finish in one sitting.

It took eight and a half hours, including breaks, and while it looks good, the headache I had afterwards was NOT worth it

The back of the blade has two spikes, the top of the hatchet has a purple gem embedded into the weapon, and the head of the axe is painted with a claw-like purple pattern. The sword is listed as "Aqua's sword" while the axe is listed as "Shadow's axe." They both have the date December 14th, 2019 written near them.

I designed weapons for Aqua and Shadow which I reference to this day. They've changed very little over time and I can't see myself redesigning them anytime soon.
