The #Chalcedon #checkerspot #butterfly larvae will emerge from eggs and feed/live on host plants like #stickymonkeyflower (#Diplacus #aurantiacus). After moving to a more secluded site, #larvae enter #diapause, emerging between early spring with #pupation in April. #chrysalis
