I’m not a good person to talk to when it comes to getting over writers block. At one point, all I needed was a transitional paragraph and I couldn’t think of how I wanted to write it, so I didn’t write for two years. Though now I’d say just move on.

I’m not sure about aesthetics for my WIP. I found a gif of what the sky in my WIP looks like pretty much constantly. Save for once a month when some rituals are cast and the people have sunlight for a day.

I think my biggest word count for one day was over 6,000 words. I was at the tail end of my rough draft and I was in the ZONE.

A fun fact about the MC of the book I’ve been working for longer than I’d like to think about: he drinks like a fish at the start of the story and carries around a lot of resentment towards certain people in his life.

I don’t know if I have a favorite trope to write. I tend to lean on “orphan with a great destiny” in my fantasy writing. As far as reading goes, friends or enemies to lovers is one of my favorites.
