Chox Sato is the son of a chocolatier. His mother is the creator of one of the modern chocolate bars: “Caroots”. The chocolate bar has a signature orange body, a crunchy texture when bitten. The orange is food coloring taken from carrots while the inside is coated with creamy dark chocolate blended with oat milk. There’s a subtle flavor of carrot. Its origin was in the misconception that all rabbits love carrots. His mother created a recipe that merges carrots and chocolate bars together. Marketed as “If rabbits love Caroots, all mammals love it too!” Financially stable and well loved by his chocolatier mother and stay-at-home father growing up, Chox had a memorable childhood. Winston is a pirate/smuggler who operates primarily on the East Coast of the U.S. He owns a cargo ship—which was passed down from his dad. Winston is stationed in the dockyard of one of Maine’s cities. Not too far away from where Crest is. The Avenging Chains found out about Winston through Maine’s news. “The Infamous Maine Smuggler”. A man who is noted to have made deals with other countries in giving them shipments of rations and supplies in exchange for building allies. Though his actions were mainly glossed over to try and highlight the “bad”. Winston is by all intents and purposes, a pirate who has a reputation for being a good man. The Avenging Chains who likewise have people who need rations and supplies had sent gang member Lincoln Sheppard—a man with a reputation in diplomacy and bargaining—to create an ally out of Winston Quill. It was agreed upon that building trust is essential and that Winston will go forward in sending a small supply as a gesture of openness to assisting them in official capacities. If he finds the gang were dishonest and used this gesture for ill-will then any allying is off the hook. Surprisingly, Winston found the gang to be true to their word. Their priority of protecting people earned respect on Winston, and it wasn’t long after that the wolf decided to become their shipment deliverer. He has built an unexpected friendship with Lincoln Sheppard, and it’s been seen in his favoritism of only wanting to meet with Lincoln. He trusts him the most.
