A my-style drawing of the angel character put on the front of Feeder's album Comfort in Sound. The original design was made by Aya Takano. This will be a bit of a rant post rather than a description; I wanted to put this here because I'm pretty sure no one will care. I went to see Feeder live last night for their Comfort In Sound tour. I was looking forward to this since May when I booked the tickets. There was a huge screen behind the band members; and it was very cool to see this once smaller and lesser known band become wealthy enough to have incredible staging! Yet, while it was nice seeing Aya Takano's artwork come to life on this humongous screen... The animation, I very much believe, was made by AI. They were absolutely TERRIBLE. It's such a disrespect to Aya, and the animations they showed on the big screen of these once still images could have been done easily by a skilled animator in less than 15/20 minutes. I'm really upset as Feeder is one of my favourite bands of all time. Their music has been with me throughout my childhood. They had no reason to use AI for the images they brought to life, but they did. I will not be attending nor supporting them going forward.
