Catching up on what I missed after needing bed, have to say I'm a little unhappy with the flags for the huge 77-79 shunt.
The only yellow, which Aron responded to as you can hear slowing, was right on top of the stranded 79. The previous marshal post had no flags, you see the 77 pass it.

262 laps is the least distance in the GT3 era. Before today it was 268 laps back in 2013.

For the Haupt Racing Team Ford Mustang, the Meguiar's Bathurst 12 Hour was over after just a quarter of an hour. Christopher Mies hit a kangaroo at full speed on Conrod Straight. The kangaroo, or at least 'meat pieces' of it, went into the cockpit. Mies was covered in blood.

There was a lengthy Red Flag in the ninth hour. The Tsunami Porsche had spun just after a restart. Then leader Ralf Aron was unsighted coming to The Dipper and smashed into Johannes Zelger. The Craft-Bamboo AMG driver is stable, but has gone to hospital for further evaluation.
