Fractone Debut: Donkey Kong Bananza Attack: Whacktone Type: Balanced Speed: 4/10 Power: 4/10 Pass: 6/10 Spike: 6/10 These talking rocks live all throughout the Underground World. They're happy, polite, curious, and always seem to have a fun way of speaking on rhyme. Fractones are made of a material called Fractonium, which can repair itself if a piece of it is torn or smashed off. Fractones have made their home in every layer, and have recently come to live on the surface as well! As balanced players, the Fractones have average stats across the board, with a slight favoring of passing and spiking. The Whacktone attack is a counter move where, if any opponent strikes the Fractone while they take a defensive stance, they break apart before rebuilding themself to be much bigger and much heavier and slamming down on them!
Fractones are curious by nature, and that curiosity has led them to join the Spikers League to see what all the excitement is about. If attacked while using Whacktone, they rebuild themselves to be way bigger before attacking back with a slam!

Crockoid Debut: Donkey Kong Bananza Attack: Mincer Masher Type: Power Speed: 1/10 Power: 9/10 Pass: 5/10 Spike: 7/10 These stony-faced foes were originally Kremling skeletons, buried deep down in the Underground World. When VoidCo. began their mining operation towards the planet core, they needed some... "staff" to help do all the grunt work, so they were resurrected and given a hard, rocky shell. With Void out of the picture though, the Crockoids had nowhere to go, so King K. Rool took them back. Not even death can help you escape your duty to the king! Crockoids are power hitters who are given Mincers, which they swing around like clubs. The Mincer Masher can let them slam on the ground to bury opponents, or send the Mincer rolling ahead to damage anyone it runs into like a projectile. The Mincer gives Crockoids a pretty strong spike too!
VoidCo.'s defeat and disbandment meant the Crockoids had nowhere to go, so K. Rool roped these ancient reptiles back into the Krew! They're equipped with Mincers that can smash opponents, or shred them along the ground.

This specific shift was on the Hilltop Layer at the maximum difficulty level of 7, and a total of 2,214,289.27 emeralds were collected over fifteen rounds, earning an A rank.
I guess the Root finally decided to bless me with good RNG because not only did I finally beat Hilltop Layer difficulty 7 after like four tries, but I won by a LANDSLIDE. Every other attempt I lost around only round 5...
One of things I love most about #DonkeyKong #Bananza is that the whole game is just one giant love letter to the entire series. You get all kinds of easter eggs and nods to previous games...
