In a dream sequence, Tarzan is overtaken by a sentient Martian plant organism called the “Tara.” It thrives on Earth’s atmosphere and grows into monstrous things made of slimy purple and green tentacles, with strange abilities to possess other living beings and also fuse its DNA with that of dead organisms to create new hybrid life forms.
Randomly remembered these panels exist in an official Tarzan comic arc from the 90s 🌱 🐙
