Virgil: "Hey, listen... I know you've got big shoes to fill. Everybody looks at you and expects you to whip out some kind of crazy save-the-day surprise like your boss used to do."
Virgil: "From what I heard, when he was your age he traveled the world and basically learned how to be an expert at, like, everything. Except talking to people. Watching you move... well, it's clear you don't have that kind of training. Nevertheless, he saw something in you. But because it's him, he didn't tell you what that special thing is. You need to figure out what it is and sharpen it. Batman is yours now. Make it work for you, and not the other way around."
I really adore grown up Virgil. I did watch the Static cartoon when I was younger, and I loved watching Virgil learn to navigate being a hero and a person. And now he's all grown up and showing off what he's learned, whether it's saving the world or giving a teen some wisdom. #BatmanStaticBeyond
