The glazing on this vase didn’t turn out as expected, and it was my first time carving on a collared in piece where I couldn’t feel the inside while carving, so it was kind of scary!! No mishaps thankfully.

Looking forward to the Easter long weekend. So many things on the to do list, but hoping for relaxed family time. I think this carved bunny and robin cup I’m working on looks like it’s carved out of chocolate. Don’t think studio reclaim would be very tasty. 🍫🐇

Another glazing learning experience. I think this combo was yellow iron and light sepia?? To be confirmed! It has a very small foot!

My little mushroom cup experiment worked out not too badly… I’ve be learning what it’s like to work with the studio reclaim instead of B-Mix and I wanted to see if I could carve on it. It was a little more tricky to keep clean, but it was possible to do.
