In the middle of the image sits a pond. It's a calm Autumn day with a bit of an overcast sky. In the foreground is dry long grass. Surrounding the pond is a mix of evergreen and deciduous trees. The leaves of the deciduous trees have turned fully yellow.
In a large creek, near the shoreline, four White-tailed deer are standing in the water. All of them have their heads down as they are drinking from the creek. In the frame, they are grouped together, just below the center point. There is a forest of evergreens in the background and a grassy area in the foreground.
Winding through the lower half of the frame is a paved bikepath. It makes an ess shape trail towards a forest of yellow deciduous trees. In the foreground, on the right side, is a pair of tree stumps and another full sized tree that is leaning to the right.
In the top half of the frame, a stand of deciduous trees, with fully yellow leaves. They are reflected off the still waters of a pond in the lower half of the frame. On the right hand side of the frame, a ground of dark green evergreens stand, also reflected off the pond water.
