#Belvoir The Spare Room. Sensitive adaptation of Helen Garner: a terminally ill friend staying with her plunged into pseudo-medicine. The cast is fantastic in multiple characters circling the puzzled, energetic, spiky Helen, an electric Judy Davis. Amazing. (Also, I pulled something out of a hat)

Just saw #osagecounty at the #belvoir in #sydney. Really good dialogue, Excellent delivery, great acting (though I think they were tired by Act III). I had minimal sympathy for any of the characters and I still loved it. Pamela Rabe is some kind of genius.

#MTC Seventeen, by Matthew Whittet. So enjoyed this at #Belvoir in 2015, why was I so resistant now? Another dream cast (experienced actors playing teenagers to poignant effect) but this production (director? set? venue? revolve??) exposed the play’s weaknesses & mechanics. Still enjoyable though.
