Just read #BendSinister by #VladimirNabokov. It is extremely well written and a fascinating depiction of dictatorships. Additional plus: One gets to read the philosophical theories of the protagonist, Adam Krug. And the fantastic, made-up language of the country (a mix of Russian and German)
