I have just heard that John Virgo has passed away. He made me feel so welcome when I was on Big Break. I still have the waistcoat he gave me from the show I was on. He was the nicest bloke you could meet.

There's also one Wiki that lists some of the pilot as having been broadcast on Auntie's Bloomers, I wonder if that is the source for the "John Parrott as referee" claims, or if it's just the same pilot that has leaked out. I suppose one theory is that someone confused Ganley with Parrott.
