The Blood Pact has arrived! I finished my first test model for the #bloodpact. It turned out pretty well, but I want to look at 2 things.
1. Find a darker gray to edge-highlight the armor.
2. Maybe put a second color on the lasgun. Bronze or a darker red?

I started putting some paint on the Stalk Tanks and a couple of the infantry #minis to figure out the Blood Pact's color scheme. So far, it includes Mephiston Red, Plate Mail Metal, Coal Black, and Tan Flesh. The officer will also have some gold.

I finished building my #kitbashed Stalk Tanks for the Blood Pact. I thought they would be a little small, but they turned out a good size. They are on 75mm bases. The last includes my #wip APC and a Blood Pact officer for scale.

I finished my 2nd Blood Pact command squad. This is the last of the infantry for the Blood Pact, except for characters. There are 40 Blood Pact troopers, 10 Death Brigade, 10 Sons of Sek, plus 3 5-man Command Squads. That's 75 infantry that will need painting!

Okay, the Blood Pact heavy weapon teams now have a mix of the previous metal heads and the new resin heads from Anvil Industries. This gives me enough metal heads to mix them across the infantry squads as well.

I received the head bits that I need for my #BloodPact. Skull masks for the Death Brigade, Clasping Hand masks for a Sons of Sek squad, and grinning grotesques for the normal Blood Pact. The metal heads with grotesques I got a few years ago no longer seem to be available.

For the last Death Brigade trooper with a special weapon, I decided to pick an easy option and give him a hotshot laspistol and melta mine. Tip: Orks have a lot of extra meltamines. Now, to make 4 more troopers with hotshot lasguns.

Blood Pact Death Brigade trooper. I wanted to make a hotshot volley gun, but also wanted to easily tell it apart from the hotshot lasguns. I decided to go big and use an extra sentinel multi-laser I had in my bits box. 😄

I am using these robotic spider legs for Stalk Tanks in my Blood Pact Traitor Guard. They're a bit smaller than described in the Gaunt's Ghosts novels, but around the right size gamewise, since I will be using the rules for armored sentinels.
